“Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”

- Mark Victor Hansen

This show will take place in March 8, 2009 at the Grandstar Jazz Club in the Chinatown region of Los Angeles and will contribute aid to the country of Sudan's ravaged region, Darfur. The combination of decades of drought, desertification, and overpopulation are among the causes of the Darfur conflict, because the Baggara nomads searching for water have to take their livestock further south, to land mainly occupied by farming communities. Also, religious differences have also caused much conflict. Since February, 2003 this war has gone on and well over 500,000 people have died and millions more have been displaced.

I received an email from my best friend's wife, Kelly. It was a list of things to do in order to have a better life in 2009. It was probably the best forwarded e-mail I will get this year. Click the link to read it and take from it what you will.

Enjoy!
