I just wanted to take this time to show respect to the life of Patrick Swayze. I choose to use the images from Dirty Dancing and The Beast because those two pieces of work from his careeer are what first came to my mind when I read that he had passed away.

I can remember as a young kid seeing my sister mimick the moves from Dirty Dancing  and singing along with the music, imagining she is the girl in Patrick Swayze's arms.

I became a big fan of his latest work, a television series on A&E titled "The Beast", and always looked forward to each new episode. It was a gritty undercover cop drama based in Chicago. The character played by Swayze, Charles Barker, was a tough FBI agent who pretty much did whatever it took to get the bad guys. It's too bad the show will not continue and we no longer have Patrick here with us anymore to portray that role.

The one good thing is that he is no longer suffering from his illness and I believe he is now at peace in a better place.
