Seasons greetings,
Is it just me or did 2008 just fly right on by? Here we are at the end of another year again with a new one soon upon us. I hope everyone achieved their goals that were set at the beginning of 2008, and if not, I hope you at least made many steps towards achieving your goals.
Personally, 2008 has been a great year for me. I started my company, Corner 10 Productions, and I have been marching towards my dream of entrepreneurship all year. I have been promoting my company while still working at my day job, Motion Analysis Studios. Our big project this year was with Jim Henson Studios, providing motion capture for the PBS morning show "Sid the Science Kid". There were many long days and stressful times involved with completing "Sid", but it was very fulfilling when I saw our company name in the end credits of the premiere episode.
On October 25th of this year, I turned thirty. My friend Mike and I, along with the help of my sister Kimberlei and Mike's wife, Kelly, put together a memorable party at my place with friends, family, and co-workers. I had such a fun time entering into my thirties. Turning thirty made me think about all that I had done in my life getting to this point and what I plan on doing from this point on.
Recently, I made the decision to go full-time with Corner 10 Productions at the beginning of 2009. I have built up my client base and I have many potential clients on the horizon. I am so excited about my decision that I am actually smiling uncontrollably while typing this. This is a big step, but I have the confidence that I will be successful, and most importantly happy, following my dreams and taking control of my career and future.
I pray that happiness finds you all during the holidays along with fulfillment of your hopes and dreams as we enter into a new year.
Thank you,
Kristopher J. Evans, Owner / Audio-Visual Designer
